    Enjoying a Cuban Cigar Tonight

    Not much of a post, just grabbed one of my last Cubans procured from the islands. Haven’t been travelling outside the country in a long while. Can’t wait to get back out there. Soon. Post about my trip to Napa soon. Just relaxing in the Cigar room with a Cuban and some vodka seltzer. Best place to be after a hard day at work.

    Winter Running Photography Shots

    I’ve been trying to work on my photography skills, using different angles, shutter speeds, etc. I’m amateurish at best, but know enough to be dangerous. Luckily my wife Cat doesn’t mind being on the other end of the camera and is doing work to promote her running and fitness.

    First Time Skiing in Ages

    Finally got to hit the slopes with the kid. Sunnapee Mountain. Had a great time. Big pro-tip, make sure you buy tickets ahead of time online. I got my daughter a season pass, so it was just me, and the original place we were going to ski at was Gunstock. Thankfully I thought about buying tickets early. When I went to go look, I found out that they were sold out for the day! Glad I looked, otherwise we would have driven there to be turned away. Here are some photos of the day:

    Removing Gmail and Google from my Life

    I had gmail from the beta version. I was young and dumb and was lured in by the word free and unlimited. Eventually it was no longer unlimited unless you wanted to pay, and it was never truly free. They just wanted your data and we freely gave it to them. If a service is free, you are the product. I’ve been moving everything that is meaningful to me over to proton mail: http://www.protonmail.com They have the shortened version “pm.me” It’s perfect. I also pay for it. I’m happy to do that too. I get all the great features of any email including spam filtering, and they give me 5…
