Took a well needed week off and spent the evenings on the boat watching sunsets, having cigars, and watching my wife in a Bikini. Just enjoying life!

The new season is upon us. We have recruited some new neighbor’s this year who will be over the next Thursday of me writing this. I recruited them on walks, with promises of drinks and cigars and the fact we are not very good at the game so come with very very low expectations. Can’t even fool the wives at this point. They know it’s just an excuse to get together and bullshit with each other, so we do and enjoy doing it.

The 2021 Laconia bike week was a wonderful sight this year since last year it was more or less not even held. Last year they allowed cars on the strip and no parking. This year the magic was back. Albeit a more subdued event this year with a noticeable shortage of vendors and events, but what was there was well done and a welcomed detour. We spent 3 days in the area. You don’t realize how early the sun comes up until you get up before it. This particular morning we headed down to Dennis, MA to hop on a boat and drive it up to Boston. A 38 foot Regal. Not mine, but a neighbors who needed a couple of deck hands to help out and I was more than willing to come along for the ride and do what I could. We would head out of the Bass River and in between the Cape and Martha’s Vineyard and chug along the canal heading towards Boston. We gave ourselves 6 hours for the trip. We would do it in three and…
