Just a warning: This is very much a rambling post I learned a lot from my Grandfather. He taught me about the way things were and ought to be. He was someone that had a heart of gold (stories of him delivering food to needy people or elderly that couldn’t leave their homes in winter – with no prompting or reward, it was just the right thing to do), he fought in World War 2 as a B-17E Pilot but never spoke too much about it. Ordering for Christmas this past week. Bought a bunch of items that were prime. I don’t get it in two days, I get it in two weeks. The heck? Just so you know I’m not pulling your leg. There is this construction site just down the road where a new home is being erected. Apparently some fine upstanding citizen decided that that was a perfect place to dump a flock of chickens. A kind neighbor alerted me to them as he saw them and thought they were mine and they just got loose. My birds were safely tucked away inside their coop. A while back I saw a post on an instagram feed where this guy put a motorcycle on his mantle above his fireplace.
