    Survived My Surgery

The knee surgery came and went along with some wild dreams that I can’t remember, but do remember them being odd, and I’m in the recovery stage. They gave me some anti-nausea medicine that I have not had the need to take, a light opioid that I have been taking for pain, but took two of them before going to bed and was up all night. Knee Surgery Tomorrow

Just lounging around today while I wait for a few more calls from the doctors. Resting up the leg to keep the swelling down. I was even able to remove my rings this morning with some soap and water and a bit of tugging. Feels odd to not have them on, especially my wedding ring. I live in New Hampshire, so that means we have winter here. No coffee plants will survive under 40 degrees, never mind below freezing. I ordered three plants with the hope that at least one would survive. They took four years to grow, finally one flowered, fruit grew with the coffee seeds inside and took 8 months to ripen. I…

Surgery Scheduled for the 1st, Retirement on the 9th

Going to have knee surgery on the 1st to get my meniscus tear in my right knee fixed finally. Recovered from Covid, so I’m better there finally – still the remnants but not much – and lastly I’m putting in my last day at work on the 9th. I’m going to use the summer to do some needed work around the houses, really work to get into better shape and condition physically (especially after getting sick and not being able to hike or walk due to my knee, so I’m just ready!) and then spend some time figuring out what might just be next for me. Due to some impending…
