    Sap House Already Dead

Sadly that didn’t take long. What was going to be slightly windy, so I battened everything down, went to down right blustery. I think I even saw Mary Poppins go flying by… It’s a goner. Right now I’m sitting half in my driveway and half in my garage trying to finish a batch of syrup. Getting late and my motivation is waining. Maybe spark it up and finish it tomorrow morning. Not exactly sure what this means for the rest of the season but I really need to make a permanent structure.

    Business Credit Cards

I’ve taken the next couple steps to digital privacy, with the first being getting my PO Box and having my LLC directed there along with applying for a Business Credit Card. I unfroze my credit for a day so I could apply, signed up for Chase Ink Business. This card in particular because they do not report to your personal credit. So now I can make the lions share of my personal purchases go away, all-the-while building up my business credit so I can eventually make home purchases through the company and not personally. Got Out on the Ice Finally!

A friend called me up and said: Andy the ice is amazing you need to get out here! It was a Tuesday and I’ve learned from past experiences that you take the time to sneak out whenever the ice is good. So lunch came and I left the office to go visit some friends and their iceboats along with all my iceboating gear. I regretfully didn’t have time to go grab my iceboat out of my basement. Just didn’t have that much of a head’s up, but folks graciously let me jump in and go. The last thing I heard Larry say before I he pushed me off in Pierre’s…

    Ghetto Sugar Shack 4.0

She’s a complete store tent setup complete with walls and a window! It’s really not a bad setup. The ceiling is high and overall well put together for something this cheap. The frame construction is well built, but the plastic walls are thin and not meant for any strong weather, so we will see how it actually holds up. I assumed there would be a roof vent as most of these do for wind, but this one lacks that and the steam can hang low. Not that big of a deal and maybe something I can add if I keep this. I bet there is a well built canvas one…

Officially Made the Switch to GrapheneOS

It happened sooner that I wanted to make it, but breaking my work phone forced it upon me. Something about phones being thrown against a wall make them break… who knew? Yeah, it was a rough week. Tossed my SIM card into an old iPhone and told my friends I have a new number and the GrapheneOS was in full swing. So far so good. The iPhone simplicity, convenience and app porting will be missed… But short lived. I was able to find apks that matched mostly what I wanted and simplified my life even more by not putting a ton of apps I would never use on it. The…
