If you’re like me, you’ve heard of the whiskey sour but probably never had one. Oh and if you enjoy the flavor and feel of sucking on a lemon then this drink is definitely for you! Just three ingredients: 1 part simple syrup 2 parts fresh lemon juice (basically two lemons) 1 1/2 to 2 parts whiskey or bourbon Shake with ice, strain and serve on ice. Enjoy! So there’s a song on the radio by Old Dominion called: Hotel Key and it reminds me of all the hotel keys that we’ve kept over the years. I finally found a purpose for them which allows me to display the destinations we’ve been to but also lets them serve a second purpose. Refrigerator magnets! So simple it’s stupid. I’m sitting here on my deck, cigar ready, beer in hand and typing this out. Motorcycle week is here and myself and some friends plan on going to the Hill Climb at Gunstock on Wednesday. Not sure if I’ll stay up at the lake or not. While I’d like too, it’s in the middle of the week and really does depend on what’s going on at my office. I’ll know more after running the numbers tomorrow and looking at the build/ship schedule. Got the call today that we are approved to make that next, albeit nerve wracking, step towards purchasing an investment property. We have our eye on one. Said we would visit it last weekend. We didn’t. Maybe I’ll see if it’s still there this Saturday to go see. If it is, maybe it was meant to be.
