    Next 30 Days, You Can’t Buy a Non-essential… Can You Do It?

    My annual self-imposed no purchase for 30 days.  It falls roughly sometime between September 15th to October 15th. I figured this time of year works best because there are no major holidays, no reasons to really go out and buy things. School shopping is over and Halloween isn’t here.  I also find that no one is really Christmas shopping yet either.     Fidelity comes out with Zero Fee Funds

    It was only a matter of time, but I don’t believe anyone expected Fidelity to be the first company to come out with zero fee funds.  Vanguard is usually the company most online think of and recommend when it comes to low fee funds.  Fidelity looked them square in the eye and said:  We can do better.     And We’re Approved!

    Got the call today that we are approved to make that next, albeit nerve wracking, step towards purchasing an investment property.  We have our eye on one.  Said we would visit it last weekend.  We didn’t.  Maybe I’ll see if it’s still there this Saturday to go see.  If it is, maybe it was meant to be.   Regardless, I’m not out to buy something just to buy something… But I on the other hand I do what to buy something.  Hmmm…   This diversification of my current portfolio is going to lose me money in the short term.  I’ve sold stock to fund this purchase that has been up…
