Was a nice brisk fall day and a perfect day for a walk/hike. Overall 4.5 miles round trip, we parked at Brown’s corner and took the Scribner trail, what I call the long way, up the North Mountain of Uncanoonuc.
This was the longest walk we have ever taken Carl. I brought some extra water for him, his travel bowl, and a few other items for us in case we got cold.
Snapped a few photos at top, but not much else:
We didn’t see a soul all the way up but once on top, a few groups started showing up. Even assisted in taking some photos of them. Carl got some pats and we were back on our way down.
Great day to just get outdoors.
