Padron 80th and a Juicy Ass?

Friday night, Memorial Day weekend, and a long hard week it was time to sit around the fire pit and have my ritual cigar and beer.

The cigar is a Padron 80th Anniversay. Yeah, I went all out this Friday.

The cigar is a favorite of mine. It is quite a strong cigar – not for first time smokers or even season cigar aficionados on an empty stomach!

Very smooth, and very little spice on the palate. Highly recommended though. I accompanied it with a new to me beer called Juicy Ass.

Juicy Ass is a Canadian craft brew produced by Flying Monkeys. Here is the back describing this particular IPA

A very hoppy beer with a citrus after taste that reminded me more of grapefruit than passion fruit as it states.

A great palate cleanser between puffs on the cigar.

I doubt I’ll see this beer again… well, at least until I visit Ontario again.

Even Cat had a taste and approved!

Hope everyone has a great memorial weekend!
