The knee surgery came and went along with some wild dreams that I can’t remember, but do remember them being odd, and I’m in the recovery stage. They gave me some anti-nausea medicine that I have not had the need to take, a light opioid that I have been taking for pain, but took two of them before going to bed and was up all night. Definitely not making me drowsy. Even gave me some Oxycodone… Not interested in taking that and thought that was overkill. I even had to sign a waiver saying I would destroy it/hand it in when I was done.
Leg up and sitting in a chair right now as I type away. So much to write about and will now have the time to keep up.
I’m being told recovery can take up to 6 weeks. Ugh. No swimming at the lake or really even getting my leg wet.
